A 70-Year-Old Grandma Cleaned 52 Beaches in a Year


Inspired, or actually disturbed, by a documentary about the negative effects of plastic pollution on the planet, Pat Smith decided to do something about it. Being from Cornwall, the southwest area of UK with lots of beaches along the Celtic Sea and the English Channel, Pat decided to start cleaning one beach at a time.
