Sustainability and Recycling

Description

Three students – Emma Hristova, Darina Asenova, and Lora Atanasova, grage 8 at ELS “Geo Milev” Burgas, Bulgaria, present their research on Sustainability and Recycling.

Environmental sustainability is the key to saving the planet. There are two types of recycling: internal and external. Internal recycling is reusing waste materials from manufacturing processes, while external recycling is reclaiming materials from worn-out products. Paper, glass, plastics, rubber, and wastewater can all be recycled. Recycling helps conserve resources, save energy, reduce pollution, create jobs, and minimize waste in landfills. Let us all recycle to protect the environment!

How is iron recycled?
Why much of the glass containers for food or drink aren’t usually recycled?
What isleft, after most of the glass, plastic, paper products, and metals have been removed from domestic waste?
